An awesome Avatar Badge with some hidden linked icons on it

Blogfreakz has shared with us again another cool article on a pretty neat avatar badge that you could use in your blog or a web site you can check out the full article here on Avatar Badge Icon for more info. They also have some demo on how to do the avatar badge with an html and css syntax that you can actually use. I’ve tried it out my self and it really works great.

The effect is achieved through the use of ‘transition’ CSS property. It works perfectly in all major browsers except Internet Explorer (not much surprise there) although it degrades nicely in Internet Explorer version 9.

An Adaptable View like Youtube

Here’s an awesome creation by Janko that carefully mimics a Youtube-like adaptable change view feature. This is like changing the viewing angle of a Youtube video from wide to stretch. With this it basically lets you switch in between on a normal mode to a wide mode making it to expand or shrink the movie area. Although the only downside of this code is it only changes view, but all of the information on the video still remains accessible and the same.

Blogfreakz has a code and a demo for this on its blog post on Adaptable View Using CSS and jQuery you can check out the demo on the image below:
